According to the American Lung Association’s “State of the Air 2006″ report, Tucson has the fifth-cleanest air in the country. Cheyenne, Wyoming has the cleanest air overall, while Los Angeles has the most polluted air (big surprise there). Add yet another item to the list of reasons why I love living in Tucson.

THE CLEANEST AIR!?!?! Obviously these people don’t live here. And they probably took the sample after it had rained, and they also PROBABLY didn’t take the samples near the airport or the waste managment station, and they PROBABLY liked it so much because it’s always sunny here and it NEVER RAINS. What a hack article!
Sure, the air may be free of toxins and chemicals, but has anyone heard of dust particles and pollen??? Have you SEEN the haze over Tucson lately!?? I’m sorry, but Mt. Lemon just doesn’t count!
Ahem… excuse me… that’s Mt. Lemmon… my bad…
It’s okay, Garret, we know you were just having a citrusy moment…
Haha, citrusy, I’ve never heard it put that way. Yeah, it needs to rain, really, really.
He’s just grumpy because of the environmental biology we’re taking ;)
