There’s a fire burning right now in the Catalina Mountains, and it looks like it started pretty low and is making its way up the side. There might be another outbreak burning on the other side of the ridge, but it’s hard to tell from where I live. One thing is for certain, though—fires make for really awesome long exposures at night.
Amen to long exposure fire photo awesomeness. The fourth of July is coming up… amen to long exposure fireworks photo awesomeness, although I wouldn’t call the fireworks here ‘spectacular’. It would be pretty cool if you could get a city wide shot with fireworks going off from everywhere.
Despite its destructive power, sometimes fire can be really beautiful. Glad I could be a part of the mountain-gazing experience.
