American Express: A+ customer service
I’ve had an American Express credit card for a couple years now, but I would only use it several times a year, and only when shopping at Costco. (Costco doesn’t accept any other credit cards, and the reason why I didn’t go there very often in the first place was because I was mooching off [...]

How my gun saved my life
The scene is yesterday at about 6:30 p.m. The sun is setting and it’s getting dark out, but it’s not quite nighttime yet. I’m coming home from an afternoon of apartment shopping, and I stop at my credit union on the way home because I’ve got some checks to deposit. I’m standing at one of [...]
Don’t take it personally
I think I mentioned this a few months ago, but I’m currently working on redesigning this site. The default WordPress (the software that powers this blog) theme is nice and everything, but it’s the default. It’s ordinary. It’s commonplace. It’s prosaic. Allergic to life in general
I don’t even know what ragweed is, but I don’t like it. Nor tree pollen, for that matter. Nor anything else that’s dumping tons and tons of allergens into the air.
I’m sneezing.
My eyes are itchy and watery. (Don’t worry, I’ve already checked for rocks).
The mere thought of spending time outdoors is causing an allergic reaction. [...]
There’s a sucker born every minute
This time, that sucker was me.
I went to Canyon Cafe on campus this morning because I didn’t have time to make coffee before I left for class. I ordered a double Americano, as I do at most places, and the girl asked me if I wanted it in a medium cup instead of a small [...]
Living in the mall
Oh, Rhode Island. So small, yet so weird.
A 36-year-old “artist” and a couple friends set up a 750-square-foot apartment in a mall and then lived there on and off for about four years. According to this article, the cops were slightly amused, but they sentenced the guy to probation anyway.
Thugged Out Car Commercial
This is pretty much the best car commercial I’ve ever seen. Watch it and I think you’ll agree.
Oh, and an FYI: if you read this site through Facebook or some other RSS reader that doesn’t recognize videos, you might want to click through to the actual post. Google Reader finds embedded videos just fine, but [...]
Homer Simpson and the Liberal Media
Did you know that every day, Mexican gays sneak into this country and unplug our brain-dead ladies?
